Dear Mom, Dad & Guardians, Our children grow up so fast. Just the other day (or so it seems), took their first steps … we took them to the first day of kindergarten and they were wearing your age old Halloween costume from when you were a kid. Now they are hitting puberty or getting prepared to go into

the real world … Where did the time go? Are they really ready for the real world?

Who is going to help them to become powerful and happy men?

How are they going to “find their passion”?

How are they going to “claim their power”?

What is their PURPOSE ?

Our children are the most important people in the world. It is our duty and responsibility as parents and guardians to give them every opportunity to be successful and happy. Our children deserve every opportunity to be happy and it’s up to us to provide that opportunity.

In this day and age, our kids have the odds stacked against them. As adults, we have created a world that is fast-paced and driven by personal success, material gain and technological advancements. As parents, we have worked for years to give our children the best skills to learn to lead successful lives… yet, our children still experience challenges with low self-esteem, smoking, drugs, body image, alcohol, sexuality, oppression, depression and low personal self-worth.

As children, we learn by following our examples, watching our mentor and experiencing life. We learn through so many avenues … our schools teach us academics, our churches teach us religion, our society teaches us socialization and our families are doing their best to teach values, ethics and morals.

The combination of school, church, society and family ‘should’ give our children a great foundation for success. But, we live in a new age that is very different from all of the past ages. There are many ‘new’ things for our kids to deal with that we did not have to.

So, we need to ask ourselves some important questions … Are our children really ready to enter adulthood? Who teaches our children how to deal with their peers? Who teaches our children how to communicate with each other? Who teaches our children to trust one-another? Who teaches personal leadership to our children? Who teaches our children about drugs, alcohol, sex and violence? Who teaches our children how to succeed in High School? Who? Who teaches them how to succeed in life? Who teaches them how to find their Power ~ Passion and Purpose ??

We have several options to create our “Success Strategies”. Each Boy is individual, each family is individual and each situation is individual, so to gain maximum success for our program, we custom design each program for the individual, age and personal needs.

We offer One-on-One Active Counseling, Monthly Boy to Man mentoring programs, Family Ropes courses, Rite of Passage journeys, Vision Quests, Men of the Fire programs and Family empowerment coaching.

In past generations, the elders, teachers and parents understood the importance of their children’s ‘Rites of Passage’. The most important ‘Rite’ for our youth is the ‘Passage into Puberty and adulthood’. This ‘life change’ is paramount in the development of our children, so many changes are happening. As parents, we know it, we see it, we feel it and now is the time to acknowledge our youth and honor them for this great transition. This time can be a very powerful time for our children…but we must act on it.

We at YES! and ALIVE adventures are honored that you would trust us with the gift of facilitating a powerful program for your son. This Boy to Man ~ Rite of Passage will prove to be one paramount experience in the development and life of your son. The program has been designed to enrich and empower the lives of our children. Our journey will take us far away from all modern conveniences and totally surrounded by nature. The activities have been selected to teach life skills, peer relations, effective communications, personal leadership, self-respect, relationships and how to succeed in Life! We will step your son through the 7 stages of growth … Preparation ~ Acknowledgement ~ Separation ~ Self-Discovery ~ Silence ~ Initiation ~ Integration. We will be weaving ‘life-lessons’ into every activity. We will create a space for your children to become more aware of their ‘life-choices’ so they may understand that they are responsible for how their life turns out.
