The owners and staff of and ALIVE
adventures ~ YES! Youth Empowerment Services have been working
within the Human Development industry since 1985.
The leaders of YES! ~ ALIVE are
parents, youth mentors, coaches - counselors, Rites of
Passage guides, Vision Quest facilitators, Life Coaches,
Success Fundamentals |

instructors, hosted youth empowerment programs at
Columbine High School, directed youth summer camps, been teachers
and coaches in public and private schools, written youth
inspirational books, worked as instructors with adventure and
wilderness therapy programs, facilitated ropes-challenge courses,
personal growth seminars as well as set up Adventure Travel and
Student Council retreats and have recently become certified in NLP (Neuro
Linguistic Programming) practitioners.
The ALIVE ~ YES! office is located in
Wilderness Ranch, Idaho, just 25 miles outside of Idaho’s capital …
Boise. After 18 years of running youth programs, camps, schools,
trips, personal development seminars, classes and workshops … we
noticed that there are limited opportunities for Boys and Men,
youth, families, teams, corporations and individuals to participate
in powerful out-of-doors adventure and empowerment programs. There
are great organizations like the YMCA and Outward Bound on one side
of the spectrum and “punishment-based” At-Risk Wilderness Therapy
programs, Therapeutic boarding schools, Drug – Alcohol addiction
rehab programs on the other side.
So, we decided to design and
implement a few programs that are in the “middle” of the spectrum,
honoring the transition from Boy to Man, Man into Man, and that help
families, teams and organizations empower themselves to be
“greater”.
Our programs offer a variety of
programs for the people. These programs range from one-on-one active
coaching, monthly outdoor youth & family mentoring outings, ALIVE
adventure summer camps, Rite-of-Passage Journeys, Vision Quests,
Father-Son / Mother-Daughter and Family retreats, “Circle of Life”
school assemblies, “Challenge-Ropes” courses, “Youth Events and
Travel Adventures”, “Self-Empowerment Motivational speakers”
“Phoenix Rising”, “Men of the Fire groups”, Firewalks, Sweat Lodges,
Sacred Travel as well as many custom-designed and adventure-based
programs and activities.
